Im very sorry to hear this! (F) I would think if by the morning he doesnt show improvement he should go to the hospital. Im praying for Nathan and for you! (L)

Yes, I am keeping a very close eye on him and pushing the fluids. His temp is not not rising and he is finally getting some sleep right now. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers, it's truly appreciated (F)

You are right to be more worried about the pnemonia, Elisha(my son) had H1N1 about 3 weeks ago and the doctor stressed strongly that it wasnt really the flu you had to worry about but the secondary infections because the flu makes them so ran down...keep forcing the liquids, and if you cant keep his fever down, I used Motrin, then in an hour Id follow with a dose of tylenol. They have liquid adult strength in both so it can get into his system quicker!!! Ya'll are in our prayers!!!

Yes ! I believe that is exactly what happened in my son's case. His immune system was already worn thin from his work schedule, social life, very little sleep, etc...contracted the flu and the pneumonia ensued. He is on some pretty strong Antibiotics now and was finally able to keep some oatmeal down this evening. He was really out of it the past few days.

The Doc also said that the regular flu claims more lives than H1N1, but the media creates a frenzy of exaggerated information that scares us

Good news to report ! Nathan's fever is reducing, he's more responsive and lucid and showing other subtle signs of improvement. I felt the power of your prayers last night (F) I know that God's healing hands were covering my boy. It was so scary, I am very relieved right now !!!

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers (L)
