Wasn't planning to get it, but couldn't resist. My friend recently paid $50 bucks to get it at a "secret location."

Good grief, It's shaping up to be a battle of the "Haves" vs "Have Nots" !

3 days? I heard a month.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Since I got the H1N1 virus from my wife that she got from the hospital where she works, I am immune to future virus's so don't need the shot. Was the mildest case of the flu I have ever got, and I got it for free. Not sure why they are making such a big deal out of it, like they are trying to scare the sh!t out of you.

The CDC says otherwise.

This is exactly what my clinic is telling our patients. Inactivated H1N1 okay with any other vaccine including the seasonal flu shot, and basically the same for the Live H1N1 except that it cannot be given at the same time as the Live seasonal flu (you do have to wait at least 30 days). It takes about two weeks before either flu shot it's considered effective.

My son and I got our shots at my clinic last weekend (I work at a children's clinic and got the shot as a perk for working there) but typically we are only giving the H1N1 to children that are considered medically frail, child between the ages of 6mo to 4 years and parents/care givers to children under the age of 6mo. This should be changing soon and open up to more children, since we are getting a bigger supply of H1N1 vaccine every week. Thankfully so because kids under the age of 9 need a booster shot of the H1N1 a month after the first shot.
