checking my update online

hi guys...i recently sent my aos and good thing i received the I-797c ( receipt notice ) for my ead and aos but i can't check the update online . It says,

"•Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number.

My receipt number starts with MSC---------- , please help me how can i check my status online. I hope someone can enlighten me on this.

Its probably not in the system yet. Just wait and try again in a few days, Some peoples cases never get put into the status checker some peoples take quite a while to get put on it.

I agree, mine showed after 15 days, some showed up in just 5 days, others have to wait longer..

My daughter also her case not found on the system? We got my Son approval this Monday but for my daughter still can't see in the system. We filed Jan. 14, 2010.

You can be able to check your status online after few days you got NOA1.

But I can't say that online is reliable or not. Just let you guys get a hope and calm down.
