Whoa ! I wasn't making any linkage between 'ships prostitute' and Alla - just mentioning - if you thought Anna was hot , well, have a look at FireFly, pay attention to how she was attired - LOTS of cool clothing and costumes..

OFficially, she was a 'companion' , not necessarily a prostitute

I watched it but I never saw the original so I had no clue what to expect. I will watch a few more episodes to see if I get into it.

I watched it. Was incredibly bored in the beginning. Good Lord, how long can you really stand in the street and stare at the giant thing in the sky?????

I haven't bonded with any characters yet. I have always liked Kelly Rutherford and Scott Wolfe in other shows, so we will see how it goes. They just weren't likable yet. Nor very interesting.

I agree they tried to reel us in with rushed story lines. I will continue to watch in hopes it will get better. I really did like the original V series.

The SciFi channel has been playing the original series for a few days. I watched a bit of it. Damn, I'd forgotten or never noticed how cheesy that show was. Of course, I haven't seen it since it originally aired in the 80's so that might explain it...

They did! And I don't know if they started it in V: The Final Battle or The Series but the black part of Diana's jumpsuit became glittery.
