I was so hoping for a good 'thing' - I'm a fan of the lass that plays Anna.

But.. I felt a bit disappointed by it all.

I thought it was incredibly sh!t. Seriously, the idea that the "visitors" are basically reptile men in masks was naff when they did it in the original series!

Yeah, it's too bad they didn't reinterpret that part of an alien invasion where they aren't what they seem. I'll follow it for at least a few more episodes to see how the character relationships work off each other.

I'd like it if they did a new series of The Invaders - or something on a par with the X-Files. Those were good series - certainly in comparison to the crappy SF we have on network TV today.

Fringe is watchable, but the writing and characterisation are pretty sub-par.

I did watch but was not impressed. I felt the story line was rushed into a one hour premier and with the hype that the network had been generating for this show, it deserved 2 hours to at least set the stage.

Maybe the problem was that because this is a rehash of the original series, they felt that character developement was not as important as screaming that the Visitor's are the bad guys.
