Well I was a size 20 a few weeks ago - now those size 20 jeans can be pulled off button and zip closed. I have been comfortably wearing my size 18 jeans and trousers... today I pulled out a pair of size 16 trousers that I have not worn since 1996 - these trousers are stretchable... and even though they are an extremely tight fit I can wear em... button and zip closed too :lol::lol::lol: Am over the flipping moon

My ####### hurts from riding the exercise cycle... but heck I am aiming to be size 14 by the time I get married... am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo motivated now :luv:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

Ccngratulations! I have gone through weight gain and loss like a yo-yo most of my adult life which I know is not good. Does your appetite increase from using the exercise bike? That's one of my biggest problems is that my appetite increases exponentially when I'm exercising regularly, so I have to battle my cravings and try to eat healthy foods vs. junk. How is your stomach doing? I remember you had a bout of heartburn a few weeks ago.

GooD JOB!!

Keep up the good work!:dance::dance:

I have lost 40lbs in the past 7 months and I am flipping over the moon, too  I have about 20 more to go or 8ish kilos.

As far as cravings, steven, I eat 5 times a day-small meals and I make sure to eat something (an apple or something) one hour before I work out and I am good to go with no growling stomach. It sure is hard work and once I get to my goal weight, I am going to make sure I don't put it back on!!!

Good for you! (F) Weight loss is HARD.

I lost weight for my wedding, eating healthily and doing a 'buff bride' program B) at the gym. Was feeling really pleased with myself but then rebelled after it was all over  and am now back to the weight I started at!

That's great!!!! I have been hitting the gym the last couple of months. I feel great.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

That's awesome!! Trust me, when things get really close to the wedding the pounds will drop off! I was trying to be so careful with what I ate when it got close to my wedding but cheated wayyy to much and still managed to drop about 10 lb. I was so afraid my wedding dress would be too small (they really suck you into those things) but every time I had a fitting the lady yelled at me for losing weight and I wasn't even trying. You'll do great! :)
