find out where it was cut and who is responsible to fix it...?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

...your sewage line was cut beyond your property and you could no longer use your toilet or let your gray water (shower, sink, dishwasher, clothes washer) go down the drain?

fail.

You soon find out the neighbors have no sewage drainage either. Nowhere within reasonable distance do you have access to plumbing with drainage.

What would you do?

Clearly the world would come to ask this question:

Charles, your septic tank is connected to miles of underground pipeline which is where the gray water goes. That connection has been cut off.

get the neighbors together & dig a trench, so it would flow into the street. then it would be the governments problem to fix....like the healthcare problem right steven? ;)

a much more simple & less intrusive solution.....we could have the government force the plumbers to quit gouging us for work they perform. ;)

I would use the neighbor's bathroom. And, drive to my mom's to take showers. This happened to us. They had to dig up the neighbor's backyard, tear down their garage, and fix the pipe. Took months. It sucked so bad.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

The local mayor is staunchly against government intervention. He tells you all that it's your personal sh!t, not the governments. So you dig this trench but there's several problems...for one, a horrible smell permeates every corner of the neighborhood. Second, flies and other vermin are being drawn to open trench spreading disease. Now what?

Charles, there's a quarrel in the Regional Subforums that needs your attention...and since this hypothetical would never apply to you, then you should probably go make yourself useful elsewhere...just sayin. :)

In this hypothetical - your neighbors have no sewage drainage either. There's nowhere within reasonable distance to use a bathroom. What will you do?
