An Overwhelmed Secret Service

I can say that the only political gatherings I've attended in the past 30 years where I saw violence was this summer when I saw rabid anti-health care types try to punch out two elderly people advocatiang for Obama's healthcare reform.

Seems to me that there is a resurgence in energy of far right loonies who do tend to violence -- its not surprising that the Secret Service is taxed.

I liked in Oklahoma in the 90s, and remember very well the bombing of the federal building in OK City -- and those Okies among my coworkers who thought , and for a time even said out loud, that it might be a good thing. That sentiment seems alive, well, and gaining resurgence. Right-wing terror killed more US citizens in the twentieth century than any domestic tendency from the left and I fear that not much has changed.

I remember the paranoia peddlers on 1990s like you. They were talking about black churches burning in a nationwide conspiracy and how milita groups are preparing to go to war with the government. You're right. Not much has changed.

You guys need enemies and you always manage to find plenty of Americams as targets.

That was a very telling last post. Someone just defended domestic terror groups.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
