Is it really necessary to always attach/include personal chat conversations, phone records, receipts, letters, pictures and any other form of communication between my husband and myself in all the packets? Reason I ask, is that I have only attached the requested documentation that is on the form(s). Will this hurt our case or can we provide it at the interview or when asked?

I often read of couples doing this and now I feel that perhaps, I may have made a BIG mistake by not doing so.

Please help.

I view it as signs of bonafide marriage, loosely covered in the I-130 intructions - stuff to be submitted on original submittal.

But hey - why not make a packet of yer stuff, make sure the bene ficiary has it on Interview Day?

From your timeline I can see you are at the NVC. I did not sumbit anything to the NVC to prove a bonafide relationship. I did submit somethings to the USCIS but nothing when I got to the NVC. However, I don't think it is really necessary to provide these things at the time you submit the I-130 especially if you are in a new marriage. I did bring all of the things you mentioned to my husband's interview. They asked for nothing and wouldn't look at letters from family members I tried to give them. I personally think those items are most important at the time of the interview because during the interview you really must convince the officer that the marriage is real. I say calm down and provide the items to your husband when he goes to the interview. Good Luck!

Your I-130 already got approved and during IR-1/CR-1 interview you might need those. So do not worry about it.

take everything you have to the interview, sometimes they ask and look sometimes they dont just be prepared

Just take all the evidence you have collected with you at the time of the Interview. Keep everything, even proof of postage of thing you have mailed to spouse.
