AP at NVC took only 5 days

Im so happy I got out of NVC in only 5 days. I was told last week that my file had been selected for AP and was already preparing to wait at leat 3 weeks before my file got out. So, if NVC tells you that you are in AP there is no reason to panic. I guess the next step is to wait 2 -3 weeks for Kiev to put my case in the system before I can call them so we can get the interview right?? Also once they have the case in the system how long do we have to wait for an Interview???

Congrats on your short stay!! It was 2 weeks for us from time left nvc till we could make appointment. The operator told lena 28th was 1st available, but she did not ask for anything sooner, maybe they hold slots for whatever emergency. Hope that gives yu a bit of an idea! Rumor has it that medical and consulate are closed certain days because of slow number of fiance visa's? But ??

Congrats and yes, the next thing to do is call and wait. The interview schedule seems to be much easier and faster moving now than even six months ago. Thanks to the economy you may get a rerally fast appointment. Good luck to you!

For most of the summer, Kive has had a 5 day or less lead time for interviews. I would say toi get all your interview documents ready now (if they are not already). Get her medical done, unless she is quite a ways from Kiev and you plan to do the 2 day thing, medical one day interview next. In which case make the interview appointment first ten make the medical for the day before. The medical clinic had been closing on Wednesdays and the consulate was not doing K interviews on Fridays during the summer, I do not know if that has changed

That's great, isn't it?!? Congrats!

Yes, right.. it takes 2-3 weeks from NVC to put your case into the system. As soon as they do it you can call to the call center and make an appoitment. When you call to the call center, first they will tell you the nearest avaliable day and if you don't like or don't need or whatever, you can say what day would be the best for you, except Ukrainian, American holidays and Fridays.
