I did not notice anybody talking about this so far, but it looks like CSC starts to take a good example from VSC in terms of time it reserves to process I-129F petition. I closely monitored time Timeline suggests my petition is going to be reviewed, and starting from the very beginning (October 13 check was cashed and NOA1 was sent to me) and for good 2 weeks the forecast was rather negative. The review time was sliding far and far away from me and finally reached the middle of the February. However, then, something strange have happened with the statistic of CSC and it looks for me like number of workers, who are assigned to review K1 petitions, was at least doubled. At any rate, over the last week my Timeline forecasted review time got closer to me by more than month! It states now that it is going to be reviewed somewhere in between December 28th and January 9th. I also have a feeling that it is only beginning of the process and the forecast will improve in the future significantly. Hope that my observations are right and we all would really get our NOA2s much sooner than we hoped.

OH :wow:!!! that's great news!!!

I just checked my timeline forecast and it now says : Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 7, 2010 and January 19, 2010. Where as before, it was between mid January to mid February 2010!

That news just made my night!

GO GO GO CSC!!! GO GO GO!!!

I would say that technically you did get it, if your check was cashed already. If your bank provides such service, take a look on the scan of the back side of the check you wrote to USCIS. You will find a number printed on the back of it, started from WAC and 10 digits after that. That is a nubmer, assigned to your petition, your NOA1 would contain this number and nothing else :) Moreover, if you would go here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

and put this number in, you would notice that it is recongized by the system and that your status is "Initial Review". If you will read the text below, it would tell you when exactly your NOA1 was issued to you. This date you can safely put in the Timeline, as your NOA1 date and take a look at your petition forecasted review time :)

Best of luck to you :)

Just wondering if you ladies are starting to think/plan for the wedding? If so, how are you doing it?

I'm thinking about it, but unfortunately, no money and no date makes it really hard to plan a wedding. venues don't like it if you don't know when you're getting married of if you'll even be able to pay them...ha ha.

I reckon it's Oleg&Sveta who provided you the details.

I think the 5 months you are referring to the USCIS timeline. It is usually the maximum (but i think some may exceed) but most of the applications get adjudicated in 3 months time. I hope it's less as I can see some are getting their NOA2 in 2 months!

Speedy approval for us please!

I wouldn't be disappointed about these 5 months too much. That is not what it is really going to be, but more is what CSC is aiming for. Right here:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=71522

far more realistic time can be found (at the bottom of the page). This forecast is based on live statistic and Timeline updates it daily. As you can see, right now it is far more optimistic than those 5 months :)

Just wondering if you ladies are starting to think/plan for the wedding? If so, how are you doing it?

Well, my fiancé and I are gonna have a small wedding. We plan to marry at the courthouse here in our county and then have a small party at home for family. Nothing big. We want to save up for a bigger wedding. The little wedding is only for USCIS and to get AOS started :) I think we will have food, cake, beverages, and family. That's good for now, especially with our budget.

That's almost exactly the same plan as we have, macaroni. Our priority is to get that AOS started as soon as possible.

As much as my fiancée and i want to have a church wedding and a decent reception within the 90 day window, it requires a lot of time, money and planning... and with the uncertainty of the date she'll be finally here, it just makes it more difficult... and of course, being a guy, my ignorance about planning a wedding just doesn't help at all...

Now that i think about it, i guess the only thing i know to plan that's wedding related is the bachelor party!

Just wondering if you ladies are starting to think/plan for the wedding? If so, how are you doing it?

That's a good question! Mostly, we're thinking along the same lines as everyone else and worrying about AOS first and foremost and also where we will LIVE (I live with my parents now). It will probably be the court house for us, followed by a big wedding later. It makes me a little sad to not have a nice wedding right off the bat, but we are also very concerned about a financially sound future together!

What about you?

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)
