There was a poll some time ago where the majority of Jersey voters couldn't think of a single thing he did - good or bad! - in office.

I don't really know a whole lot about the guy either.

David Kessler: Corzine's Campaign is Cruel and Intolerant

I happened to speak this morning to the obesity guru David Kessler, a former F.D.A. chief and author of the best-selling "The End of Overeating," and he was highly critical of Jon Corzine, the governor of New Jersey, for mocking his opponent's weight. Christopher Christie, Corzine's Republican challenger, has become the target of snide ads and comments that highlight his girth. This is what Kessler told me:

"This ad reflects a total lack of understanding, empathy and tolerance. No one should be criticized for being overweight. We're all wired to respond to different stimuli -- sex, gambling, alcohol, illegal drugs -- and for many people it's food. I would rather have this problem than some of these other problems. Some of the world's greatest leaders, from Winston Churchill to Ted Kennedy, struggled with their weight. This struggle has nothing to do with leadership abilities. It doesn't translate into a lack of control in any other part of a person's life. In any case, voters identify with people who are honest and open about their struggles. To be cruel to someone because of this struggle is just unacceptable. It shows a lack of understanding about human nature, and about the environment in which we live."

I've seen Corzine on Bill Maher. He seems like a pretty intelligent guy, but I really don't know much about him.

He's a Wall Streeter - a former chairman of Goldman Sachs - who's very much a part of the

Republican-Democrat corporate-fascist regime which sent trillions of dollars to his Wall Street buddies.

Being fat is a sign of lacking self control. There's no telling what other addictions the man has hiding in his closet.

Nancy Reagan said they would never do business with anyone who was fat because they lacked self control and their needs would come before any project. They hated Tip O'niel but warmed up. Her memoirs say all kinds of interesting stuff.

It is true that fat people are not reasonable..."big boned...genetics....hormones....some made up disease...."

Bottom line is there has never been a porker in a POW camp...food in is the key (people just obey their mouthes too much) It's gross....really! Nothing worse than a patient entering a hospital all of 400 pounds who can't walk having a heart attack then it's suddenly the staff's problem...

Meanwhile, Mr. Corzine, 62, is conspicuously running in 5- and 10-kilometer races almost every weekend.

All this says to me is that Guv has too much time on his hands.

The rest of the people are workin' their butts off on caffeine, red bull, and fast-food lunches...
