I use Zee mostly... I think because I was close to the border (40 mins away) when I grew up, and 'zee' rhymes in the aforementioned alphabet song, and I like rhyming... Zed just seems so out of place in the alphabet... also because they said 'zee' on Sesame Street :P

Swiss Chalet makes me sick, every time, and I had a HORRIBLE service issue with them one time, so I won't miss them at all. lol Tim Horton's yes, but they also make me sick, so I don't have their coffee and donuts much (but timbits I'm cool with.. I'll miss timbits)... though I will miss the F.V. Cappucinos, and the Iced Capps made with chocolate milk instead of cream... :( sigh.

I will also miss donair (now that I know what it is... haha)... we don't call it that though, and I've never heard that term... but yes... in London we have Sammy's Souvlaki, which is like THE after-bar street meat to have at 2-3am... lol My fiancé misses it alot, and I will too. (side note, out of curiousity I searched wikipedia for 'sammy souvlaki' to see if they had a page, and they don't, but it asked me if i meant 'sammy soultaker'... hahaha)

And I refuse to drop the 'u's from my favourite colours :P

I'll forever refuse to drop my Canadian spelling ways, unless I go back to college and I have to be all American about it.

I am pretty sure I'll always say 'zed' ... it feels weird to say 'zee', just as it feels weird to spell words with just an 'o' instead of 'ou' (i.e. honour, favourite, etc).

I feel the exact same but the complete opposite.

Zed instead of Z sounds really strange. I have always said Z and never have said Zed. I used to make fun of my friends in the 80's who suddenly started saying it Zed instead of Z.

things like honor spelt with an extra letter makes me want to pronounce it like "Hon-Our" or "fav-our-it". Just sounds funny.

And someone needed to put Harvey's Hamburgers on the Food List.

Grits can be yummy, especially with melted butter, yum.

Swiss Chalet is yummy too, but still prefer Harvey's right now...

As much as I've tried (ok not really...) I can't break the "zed" habit. My husband makes fun of me every time. That and when I say Mazda and don't put the emphasis on the a like "Maaaazda"

I would give my right arm for a chocolate dip donut. Donuts are my favorite! I feel like I've had to quit them cold turkey.

This is an odd poll! Where does it come from? I said Zed in Canada, and I still say Zed. I'm 51 years old. I can't change how I speak now just because I'm living in a part of the America's that think's I should be saying Zee. I wonder where Canadians that say Zee learned it? From watching American Sesame Street episodes? Wierd...
