My wife recently decided that in light of the fact that I am a fat American, I need to lose some weight. So we made a deal that If I fail to lose a certain amount of weight each week, she gets extra discretionary spending money. So I'm exercising.

Somewhere along the line, she decided that she would rather have the money instead of a slimmer me. So she has been making cakes, cookies, and other delicious things of that sort. They are really good.

I guess she's going to get some extra spending money. But I'm loving it.

And now we know why HOT HOT Russian chicks marry fat bald American men. Mystery solved. Oh yes, and I demand my right to be taken advantage of by beautiful "bond girl" looking women! And I will tell Alla this as soon as I finish posting. LOL

Well, I am past middle age, so I am old. At this age, I have very thin hair, so I am basically bald. No matter how healthy I eat, how much or little I exercise, no life choices change these two. I will say that when most people that meet me and see my facial skin, my general physical condition, even my thinning hair, they assume that I am 12 to 15 years younger than reality. As a very active and healthy man of 55, I thank my healthy lifestyle and eating habits for my youthful (40-ish) appearance. (btw: my fiancee is 39 and gorgeous, and loves me very much)

Forget the bypass surgery. Thousands of studies, thousands of doctors, tens of thousands of "miracle" pills, thousands of "magic" exercise machines, all have failed to find more than one solution to American weight problems. However, there is the one solution: There is one exercise that has been proven throughout history to regulate weight, and even contribute successfully to weight loss. This fantastic exercise program does not require any expensive equipment to be bought. It does not even require elevating your heart rate, nor even working up a sweat! The exercise you ask? Simple. "Push Aways"! Now you ask what is a push away? You push away from the table BEFORE you eat too much!

Until you got to the part about sweating and heart rate, I thought this was going to go a different direction. I can think of another age old exercise program. It doesn't guarantee to control weight, but it sure is a lot more fun than not eating.

I suggest you ONLY eat the sweets during your 2 mile daily speedwalking jaunt.

First, open a photobucket account (free). Upload pics to photobucket -I use medium size, and then use the insert special item tab above to put them in the siggy.

WHAT IS PHOTOBUCKET?

Do a Google search. It's free.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Find it here photobucket You get loads of free storage space, and the format and resizing work really well with VJ. You can use it for avatars, signatures, personal photos.

Do I need Photobucket to get my picture to show up when I post?

Or one of many other similar services. The only way to insert your photo as Brad has outlined is by inserting the link to an online copy of the photo, thereby Photobucket. You upload your photos to your Photobucket account, resize them there, and then insert the link to the photo in your signature, etc.

Uploaded photos on Photobucket, put link on signature, now hoping photo comes up.
