Find it here photobucket You get loads of free storage space, and the format and resizing work really well with VJ. You can use it for avatars, signatures, personal photos.

Do I need Photobucket to get my picture to show up when I post?

Or one of many other similar services. The only way to insert your photo as Brad has outlined is by inserting the link to an online copy of the photo, thereby Photobucket. You upload your photos to your Photobucket account, resize them there, and then insert the link to the photo in your signature, etc.

Uploaded photos on Photobucket, put link on signature, now hoping photo comes up.

Nope, what a surprise.

Try using the http address and pasting it into the insert special item space above this box in VJ.

If you take the http addresses you have now in the signature and paste it into the box that appears when you click Insert Special Item.

When I click on Insert Special Item, I get 7 boxes, when I click on them they all say insert text.

My wife recently decided that in light of the fact that I am a fat American, I need to lose some weight. So we made a deal that If I fail to lose a certain amount of weight each week, she gets extra discretionary spending money. So I'm exercising.

Somewhere along the line, she decided that she would rather have the money instead of a slimmer me. So she has been making cakes, cookies, and other delicious things of that sort. They are really good.

I guess she's going to get some extra spending money. But I'm loving it.

for a scammer, she is great lol

she obviously loves you.. that's why she wants you to be in shape and avoid getting health issues that will risk her having you in her life shorter..

look on the bright side of being scammed, she loves you lol

My hubby's aunt told her husband that if he's gonna get so fat, she's going for a younger man lol

I just tested this with my own hosting instead of using photobutcket, but the concept is the same.

1) click on My Controls and then Edit Signature

2) At the bottom of the editbox, where you currently have the <a href=....> and other similar links; make it look like the image below:

step1.PNG

I was able to generate the highlighted line (between the {img} and {/img}) by clicking on the 7th button over on the line that starts with the bold, itallics, underline, etc: rte-image-button.png

After clicking that image button, a popup box comes up that asks for the URL of the image. I copy/pasted "http://www.notvandnobeermakehomersomethingsomething.com/vj/IMG_0866.JPG" into the box and it generated the highlighted line mentioned above.

You would copy/paste: http://s894.photobucket.com/albums/ac143/c...ta20kazan11.jpg into the box.

Repeat that process of clicking the rte-image-button.png button for every pic you want in your signature:

http://i894.photobucket.com/albums/ac143/c...ta20kazan11.jpg

http://i894.photobucket.com/albums/ac143/c...773_596_WSN.jpg

etc.

3) Once I clicked "update my signature", my sig now looks like:

step2.PNG

Hope that helps. If not, feel free to ignore me. I'm avoid work today because I'm extra tired.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

The problem you all are having is you are not enclosing the http link to your image with the image tags {img} and {/img}

Check Jonathan's example again where his link is highlighted. Merely enclose your http link as his is with the image tags and all should be OK.
