At this point I really dont know what to do next but will call NVC, just got our letter of approval yesterday in the mail. We listed Abuja as the local consulate because my fiance is in Kaduna. Any ideas on what to do at this point..... HELP please.

It will arrive in Lagos, prepare for the trip.

Mailed n-400 : 4-3-14

USCIS Received : 4-4-14

NOA1 Sent : 4-8-14

Biometrics Appt Letter Sent : 4-14-14

Biometrics Appt : 5-5-14

Nothing to do - will get sent to the appropriate Embassy/Consulate.

You do not choose consulate in most countries, certainly not Nigeria. Lagos is the only consulate issuing K visas in Nigeria.

As mentioned in your previous threads, you will need to study the process very thoroughly to be successful in Lagos, it is perhaps the world's most difficult consulate, certainly in a class by itself, as is the visa fraud in that country. They will be very particular about what evidence you provide.

You do not choose consulate in most countries, certainly not Nigeria. Lagos is the only consulate issuing K visas in Nigeria.

NVC authomatically knows that Lagos is the only consulate that process K1-Visa and would be sent there even if you accidently put Abuja, Nigeria as the Local Consulate like we did. ;0

No problem. We listed Toronto on our petition and NVC automatically sent it to Montreal (the only embassy doing Cr-1s)
