What kinds of guns and how much ammunition do you have on standby? How many people can you take out before you run out of ammo?

Discuss.

I do not discuss such things. One of the reasons I oppose registration of firearms is that it is to our advantage to keep such things secret from the government. It is important for our freedom that such things are not known to the government. It is the same reason that concealed weapons reduce crime and protect everyone, no one knows WHO has a gun. It is better that way.

There is only one way to find out how much ammunition and guns I have...or whether I am carrying one or more concealed. Or how well I can shoot.

It's pretty anonymous here, Gary. Come on, you can tell us about your stockpile with impunity.

I have lots of brown rice, and spare change set aside. I already staked out a good location for a drum circle. You all just come on up to the River. You don't want to be hanging around them Teabaggers when they start acting like preverts.

When you are asked the question, Bill - "Joint or Die," what will your answer be?

I generally don't smoke, but since you put it that way....

Have at least 1000 plus rounds for any liberal socialist that tries to pry my gun from my cold dead fingers! You ever notice that only on the far Northeast coast of the USA and the far West coast of the USA do we have the super intellectuals that are socialist liberal tree hugging pinko commies, they know not to come out to the Midwest for they would be trampled under foot fast here!

I will take exception to only one thing. I was born and raised in Texas and now live in the "far Northeast" US. It the ONLY state that has NEVER restricted the right to carry firearms in any way...Vermont. If you think that people in Vermont do not carry guns you are very wrong. It is not the wonderful scenery that gives us a low crime rate. And same goes for New Hampshire, and Maine. Our screamin (literally) ex-Governor, Howard Dean is as strong a supporter of the second amendment as you will ever find. So, please lighten up on us with the stereotypes. If you don't believe me, try to get ANYTHING done during the deer season in this part of the world!

Also I will add, since the Col. is ignorant of such things. Most serious firearms enthusiasts are handloaders. Myself included. Given a supply of wheel weights and a stock of primers we can produce ammunition nearly indefinitely. I have been accumulating this stuff for more than 35 years. The components have an incredible shelf life if stored properly. I have an 8 lb. can of Red Dot (um, that's gunpowder, for those of you with little firearms knowledge like the Col.) I bought in 1973 and though I no longer use like I did, there is still a few pounds left that works perfectly well in light handgun loads. It has been serving to make training ammunition for my wife. Still goes "bang" every time. If Obama banned the sale of ammunition tomorrow I fail to see where it could have any affect on me in my lifetime.

It is not unusual for a shooting enthuiast to fire more than 1000 rounds per week.

Not talking about transplants like you, excuse me Gary, but referring to the ones that are born and educated there and you know what I mean.

There is only one reason for the low crime rate up there. Lets see if anyone can guess it. Hint: nothing to do with guns. Next hint: stereotype about cold weather.

When it comes to stockpiling of gun powder etc, well then, you must be very proud of yourself. After all, what an achievement.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I must take exception again. Born and Bred Vermonters are as strong of supporters of the 2nd amendment as Texans. It is the transplants from MA and NY that live here that are not, but it makes no difference and they will not change anything. The legislature here, full of liberals and progressives, will not even consider gun control. Try to find the last time a gun control measure even came for a vote in Vermont.

I am not arguing with you and I know on this issue we agree, but I live in amongst the strongest supporters of our rights in the country and do not wish for them to be stereotyped with other people that live in adjacent, but very different, states. The FAR Northeast is VERY Pro-gun. Not laike the flatlanders from down south in MA, NJ, NY (and for that matter, the people in upstate NY are also very pro-gun but enslaved, Vermont should annex everything north of I-90)

I don't care. Bring it.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

When you are asked the question, Bill - "Join or Die," what will your answer be?

1. I porbably could, but won't. Neither will I tell you how much money I make or what Alla and I do together in the beroom...or kitchen.

2. I really can't give you answer anyway without several days of inventory. It would also depend on which size bullets I make from the wheel weights. I mean I make bullets ranging in weight from 85 to 500 grs. So I would first have to make some assumptions of weight and pattern to be used...or do we limit only to factory made bullets that bend all the shelves (bullets are not the same as ammunition, I know, but they each are a potential round of ammo once loaded)

At any rate, there are some 6 billion primers made and sold every year in this country, and you need a primer for each cartridge PLUS nearly 10 billion rounds of .22 rimfire ammunition PLUS billions more of factory loaded centerfire ammunition. And they are going into someone's stockpile and have been for generations and the shelf life, properly stored, is easily more than a lifetime. As I said, there is a way to find out how many and where they are. They are wonderful little jewels of technology when you think about it. So cheap, so reliable, so long lived...incredible really.

I think you spend way too much time in the deep, dark recesses of the internet.

What? You don't believe that there's a growing movement towards a violent overthrow of our government? This is not the time to turn a blind eye, peejay.

join-or-die-psd.jpg

Having grown up and come of age in the late 1960's and early 1970's your present assertions are a bit of a yawner.

Janet Reno's shenanigans in the 1990's make what is going on now look kind of tame. Waco, Ruby Ridge, Elian Gonzalez, etc.

My assertions, peejay? If you aren't outraged, you aren't paying attention. The Right Wingers are calling to take up arms and overthrow the government. It's only a matter of time before one of these hair triggers makes a move. It's best to be prepared.

The big question is Batman...what are you gonna do about it big boy? Talk is cheap on both sides of the divide. ;)

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

Smokeless propellent powder (gunpowder) has almost no use for any purpose other than propelling a bullet out of a firearm. it is not an explosive and cannot be used to make bombs. The older BLACK POWDER can be used for that. I am not a blackpowder enthusiast except for a few old black powder cartridge rifles I have.

well for one there's no basis for a revolution, so I agree, it's a bunch of cheap talk, this 'revolution' against the socialist (gasp OMG) regime of Obama it's plain bologna, and, some of them should be judged not for treason, but for being @ssholes
