security forces have boarded the plane and have taken over and got the crew off. don't know if the hijackers are in the people that were just taken off the plane.

Settle down, Pedroh. See bolded bit. I was laughing at my inability to form a coherent sentence. I was trying to say something about the fact that I was surprised that they knew there were explosives on the plane and how did they get there given what we go through in security. See first bolded bit.

It is pretty lame IMO. Luckily nobody appears to have been harmed.

My wife's grandmother and an aunt were in a hijacked Avianca flight in the 80s that was taken by FARC rebels to Cuba. Luckily nobody was harmed and the Cuban gov't gave the victims a few days vacation for their ordeal. They " joke" about it now but remember how terrifying it was.

I do find it odd how for some things 9-11 is sacred and yet this one... hmmm. Expect to be called a killjoy, holier-than-thou type that can't take a joke at this point.

People deal with events in many different ways.... and I agree that the comment about burritos was uncalled for. As for a mod laughing, I do not see krikit making a joke anywhere, all I see is a laugh at not being able to type/say what they wanted to say.
