I am filing for my wife and sons adjustment of Status. They are here in the USA on k-3 and k-4 visa's. I have already filled out he I-485's for both the G-325A's for both and the Work authorzations. I have all the supporting documentation also. My question is: what do I need to send in on myself, I am a USA born citizen. I am not sure if I need to send in a 325A on myself, copies of my divorce decrees, birth certificates etc...

I spoke to a lawyer today and he said oh yes you have to submit everything on yourself, even though it does not state that here in the help filing section.

The I-485 is an application submitted by the intended resident... The USC is NOT a party to this application... Your responsibilities are sponsorship (I-864).

YMMV

The only information you need to send about yourself is pertaining to the I-864. Maybe he just OVERLOADS the applications he does.

Doesn't hurt for the petitioner to submit the G325A but it's not required.

moved from AOS progress reports to AOS general file

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
