Hi there -- just looking for some advice and possible some reassurance in regards to the I-129F petition my fiance and I submitted. We followed the great guide on this website and I thought that we'd done everything required ... but I realised that we forgot to include one thing that it seems everyone else has: photos to support the fact that we've met in the last two years. I don't mean the passport style photo ... we included those, but we didn't include any photos of us together! My fiance and I currently live together (in Canada; he has dual citizenship) and we included plenty of information as far as passport stamps, boarding passes, itineraries, etc but no photos. I don't know why we didn't include photos - a completely silly oversight, I guess :( I'm just wondering if there's any way I can submit photos after the petition has already been mailed, or do we just wait for the denial or the RFE? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

You included the most important stuff: primary evidence (passport stamps, boarding passes, etc.). Fear not.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it - I've never seen an RFE nor Denial because someone didn't send in vacation photos.

Wow, that makes me feel so much better, thank you! I'm thinking they should be able to figure out that we've met (considering the fact that we live together, not to mention our passport photos were taken at the same place and time and stamped with location/date stamps!) but still, I'm worrying. I feel a lot better now, though. Thanks again!

I wouldnt' worry about it. I'm sure what you did send will work for them. If not, they'll send a request for more information.

And like others have mentioned, just bring them with you to the interview when it comes time. I sent in a bunch of photos and they gave them all back to me at my interview, so I think all of our other documentation must've sufficed.

Hi! I filed an I-130 for my husband, and sent in a photo book done at a camera store with a ton of pics together from all our trips. They sent it right back to me the day they opened up my package. I worried that they now have no photos, but realized there was nothing I could do about it! I called USCIS and was told that it was strange that they sent it back. Oh well! Don't worry either!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!
