i can understand USCIS not giving us updates on our status. I mean, when you think of how many people it would have to update daily, I can't see that being an easy thing to do... Even though WE all think it's a simple task.

What I don't understand is why they cannot simply release a general document on how cases are processed. EG, why someone has their NOA2 in two weeks as opposed to 5 months ???

Ah well :o)

My last touch was October 1st and that's it. Some people that filed in September are already having their interviews this month. I don't understand how this works process works ether.

I hear that ... I'm over trying to figure it out. It's all BS anyway. '... process in the order in which they're received ...' what a load of rot. Rot, I tell you. On a brighter note, I see you have the dates for your trip! Most excellent. :star: Who are you flying with?

I was just reading other thread where sept and oct filers are getting thru NVC and some getting interviews and some getting visas.

I am happy for them

but so depressed for myself.

MsSheka and I had same priority dates and she so lucky , she is already at the end of NVC process. Good for her

but what about my file? who the hell is playing with my life? this is total Pure BS.

whatever LoLs's said about this department, 100% true. totaly effin effedup.

I hope this is OUR week. I pray we get our NOA2s -- this wait is ridiculous.

If we don't hear anything by end January, hubby is coming to Calcutta on March 23rd.

MsS, I hope we're able to get through NVC just as quickly as you. I've had everything packed and ready to go since October. I'm itching to move.

Hey A2A yes i remember when i was like "come on give me my NOA2" now i'm like "oh sh!t I hope i have everything i need":rofl::rofl: and yes when you give the NVC your email addresses they send everything VIA email all the instructions and fees, they do not give much detail though but if you are like me you can pretty much figure everything out on your own(with the help of VJ):thumbs:

Internet cafes are always a good alternative!? As well as work computers if available?? Remember, we're in the year 2010! Getting your hands on a PC these days isn't terribly difficult, especially for these circumstances :thumbs::dance:

Finally got started with this journey! Just mailed in my I-130 packet yesterday, now all I can do is wait. I've read tons of threads and posts here, and I hope I get everything right the first time and avoid a dreaded RFE, wah!!!

Anyone else in this with me (^.^')/??

how did your case progress so fast? it's been over 90 days and i still haven't received noa2. i'm jealous at your speedy approval.

@waiter, @aus2usa, @sachinsky and all others don't worry your miracle is around the corner. as you can see that the USCIS stage seems to be the longest, as soon as that is over the NVC will compensate you all. Remember those of us with approvals in your prayers because we still have the last stage at the embassy which holds the key to our joy. I wish us all a successful and stress free end.

I was just reading other thread where sept and oct filers are getting thru NVC and some getting interviews and some getting visas.
