Good luck tomorrow not that you need it looks like you guys have everything well under control. Don't forget to leave the ice pack at home before you go to the interview they may look at you alittle funny lol ;) sorry hard to say that. Your secret is out...

Maggie I know in some counties you can pay an extra fee and speed up the police report. I never thought it was that hard getting one. In Poland she just went there and they gave her the report in person once she paid them that is.

Getting a new PC is always great even if you aren't a computer nerd or gamer. It just something about a new computer that feels so good lol.

Yea for booking the ticket finally :) 50 days will go by quick. My Joanna is going to fly into JFK in 37 days and I will probably see her in Florida in about 44-45 days from right now. Can't wait so I know the feeling. She just bought her ticket this Monday too.

Jenn you are leaving for Turkey soon I don't know the actual days but have a safe flight and you will be fine with your interview. What you wrote last night really means a lot to all of us. It's amazing how everything works out.

AandD I know about the paper work. When I sent the papers to Poland I must have checked everything like 10 times before I sealed it and mailed it. Good luck with your process.

Ney your son's interview is coming up soon is it next week? Good luck and we will be cheering you on.

Now if I forgot anybody please forgive me. I try to read up every night and sometimes I just read so quickly that I skip over a lot since I'm tired and don't have more time. Good luck to everyone on here :)

I've got my phone ready and waiting to hear from her!!!

Go Krystle!

Oops! I fell asleep with my phone in airplane mode because it makes weird noises around electronics and she tried to call me this morning on their way to the consulate. She's nervous, but we all know she doesn't need to be!!!

Ney, I had been meaning to ask you this.. they are doing interviews on a SUNDAY? I'm impressed anyone in the US Government is working on a weekend :) Regardless of what country they are in.

No offense to Krystle or anyone else, but Ney and her family are in my prayers more than anyone! Unfortunately, I understand, too well, the difficulties her son and I face with interviews in that particular part of the world. The one good thing for Ney and her son is that his fiance is a woman. Things seem to go much easier for the women than for the men.. but I don't think many people (except those going through it in these countries) really understand how different and difficult it is for the MENA countries. I didn't even realize how much more difficult the visas were there until I started reading VJ.

And yes, I know.. Turkey is not technically in the Middle East.. but when it comes to visas they are treated pretty much the same ( and China seems to get the same treatment and scrutiny too.. sometimes it seems they are even harder).

But..today is not about worrying.. today is about the great news we are going to hear.

COME ON our Jamaican Queen.. bring us some good news. I imagine you sitting there, in the consulate, right now.. and I hope you know we are all sitting there with you!

I understand your concern with MENA countries, they are historically difficult. But to give you all some hope, my VJ friend went through Morocco at the end of January, a country known for automatic administrative review, and they received approval the same day of interview and a visa in hand one week later. I fully expected to be consoling her after the interview but it happened for them, and it WILL happen for Ney and Jenn..

That is FANTASTIC for them... Morocco has been giving outright denials to tons of people lately. Not even bothering with AP.. just outright giving a denial. That is so great for them.. and yes.. it gives me hope.
