September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers

I think that when we get the visa for Mathew(and since our interview is on a Tuesday it should be there by friday while I'm still with him), I'll just cry. Because that will be the finality of it all. Sure, there's still AOS and everything to go through, but if we can overcome what we already have. If we can all go through the uncertainty of not knowing what the future is going to hold, then we can do anything. I want to hold that package in my hands and I want to cry. I want to know that this is over and that what we've been going through together hasn't been in vain.

This process has been the most stressful thing I've ever done. It has also brought me great friends(family ), more knowledge, and a better appreciation of our relationship. I appreciate everything Mathew is so much more now. He is my rock, and I am his. He and I have had some bad times in our relationship, dealing with our past one. But I see now through this that if he's willing to do all that he has just to have the chance to call me his wife, then there will never be anything else in this world that can break us. We're so much stronger than that.

Oh.. and that couple from the Turkish thread still has not posted the results of their interview. It was 3 days ago.. so hoping that does not mean bad news for them. She didn't go over for the interview, or else I would think they are just too happy celebrating together to be able to worry about getting on here.. but.. I know that's not the case.

I really hope things went well for them.. and if things went well, then I can stress a little less about our interview and being told we are being put in AP

24 days.. and I leave in 19 days!

My mom gets on the plane to Istanbul in 24 days ! She'll come to Istanbul the day after our interview and meet Faut for the first time :)

I just did the craziest thing ever... I met someone here on VJ that has their interview a day before me & glenoi and so I changed my flight to leave the same day as she's leaving from New York, I guess it doesn't hurt to have company

Originally it would've cost me $129 to make the change but I was on the phone with Jetblue for 2 Hours so they changed it for FREE & gave me a credit of $100 Glenoi told me not to change it because we really can't afford it so now I have to break it to him, what the heck, I'm older so what I say goes

So now I'm leaving 2/9 instead of 2/11

Nice with the plane ticket change

That's cool Jenn that your mom is going to meet him the day after your interview. Looks like you guys are going to have a good time in Turkey and don't worry you won't have a problem. It will go nice and smooth for you guys. Joanna had been denined the B-2 Visa twice and at her interview they approved her K-1 without a any problems.

It's funny you mention B2 visa because me & Glenoi was just talking about and how I noticed that majority of k-1 filers have applied for it and has been denied. Glenoi did once and when he did I was so sure he'd get it and when he called and told me he didn't get, my heart fell to the ground :-( I didn't have the courage to have him apply again. I can't wait for this part of the process to be over and I'm sure we're all going to be ok.

So my muffinpuffin(Mathew. I like to make up names for him) is coming to see me this month. He wont tell me when. He says he doesn't know, but I've got a sneaky suspicion that he just don't wanna tell meh! I told him to make sure to bring TONS of ties to Canada, along with every scrap of info he has on our visa. They should let him through just fine since he's got a job, a lease, bills, school, and an interview to go back to!

days are going insanely slowly for us now...62 days till he comes but every day feels like an eternity! seriously, we've been apart for so much longer so many times before...but for whatever reason time is going by even MORE slowly now! oh well...
