September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers

Oh ok, my apology. However, no NOA2's today?? I guess we have to wait until everyone gets home from work. Fortunately I have web access on my phone so I'm constantly on VJ and USCIS

looks like so far today, for my NOA1 date 9/24, there was 1 approval and 4 RFEs. I'm hoping maybe the approval was Kayla & Matthew! Here's the latest breakdown for my filing date of 9/24 at VSC:

55 129-Fs received NOA1 on 9/24 (VSC only). of those, currently:

24 Approved

14 RFE'd

17 still in initial review

Breakdown of action dates:

10/08: 1 Approval

10/15: 4 Approvals

10/16: 5 Approvals | 8 RFEs

10/19: 2 Approvals | 1 RFE

10/20: 0 Approvals | 1 RFE

10/21: 1 Approval

10/22: 4 Approvals

10/23: 6 Approvals

10/26: 1 Approval | 4 RFEs

Though we're not done with 10/26 yet...maybe more approvals are still to come!

4 RFE's for today?? OOOHHH... Not to sound mean, but I REALLY hope they are people that are not on VJ. I know it can't be you, or Kayla and Matthew.. it sounds like we all sent in every possible piece of evidence known to exist in the universe. It couldn't possibly be either of you ( and if it was you.. you would know by now )

I got a question... if anyone can help. Is the H1N1 shot compulsory to take at medical check-out in any country? Has anyone heard about anything like that?

Hmm.. haven't heard that, but I suppose it could be something that could be added to the list. With it spreading more and more, it could be something that is required at some point.

It seems like they require more for people trying to move here than people just traveling on visitors visas. I travel all winter and have never had to have a vaccination for anything.. even when going to some countries I probably should have had vaccinations before I went.

I have hundreds of international students that come work with me every summer and they don't have to have them either. I have wondered why someone coming on a J1 visa, and staying for 4 months, doesn't have to have them.. but someone doing AOS would.. they've already been here for a while, so if they needed them shouldn't they have had them before they came?

My mother and sister are in the medical profession and would probably be ashamed at my lack of knowledge on this kind of stuff:)

it doesnt say so on the woking website. Maybe you could contact them?

I see the influenza vaccine (I presume for the seasonal strain) is only required from oct-feb in certain age groups (under 6 I think and over 65).

Waiting for a few of you to get approved is just as stressful as it was waiting for my own petition to get approved. I think I am even checking the site more often than I was before...

I stand corrected. Igor's list is showing one September filer approved today. I haven't seen them posting in here though. Well, at least there was one.

Trust me it's killing us too! I managed to stay super busy this weekend and now I havereturned to my obsessing.. : (

All I know is that with all that ####### I sent them, going over it a thousand times and making sure everything was exactly the way it was supposed to be, if I get an RFE then I'm just going to go insane. What more could they possibly want from meeee?

Hey, there's still 3 hours in this day. And if no one else got NOA2's from 9/24 today then it's no harm, no foul.

I'm in a fairly good mood today. Mathew and I stopped fighting, I put my engagement ring back on and USCIS isn't going to upset me!

abudhabi embassy is very good...they process very fast. my bro in law came to usa on pakistani passport with processing from abudhabi. it took abt 6 months. its bit easier if a fiancee is coming. but they do ck hard for citizens from arab countries or pakistan. so dont worry as the lawyers just try to give long range of processing dates.
