good luck spec  we also got an rfe that i am overnighting today.

Hey Kaushalia,

Did you by any chance call NVC when they sent you the RFE and tell them that your spouse will show the Passport PCC during the time of interview?

Thanks!!

Hey L-ji! yeah, i called and pleaded with them about showing it at the interview. spoke to 2 different operators. said it is only ok for mumbai interviewees. for new delhi, you must submit at NVC. put a major delay on getting our case completed.

thanks spec, you will be the next soon

Thanks. :) I hope so... but the NVC has really done a lot to make me lose my faith. It's amazing that despite the fact that one supervisor could spend only 3 minutes with my file to complete me and send me on my way, and despite having everything for three weeks now, they seem to be incapable of doing just that. Its really disheartening, especially with the scheduling week breathing down my neck.

Last month, I was where you are now, Spec. They apparently issued an RFE for court records they already had. So from 10/9 to 10/30, we were in limbo.

Thanks Julie. :) It helps, at least, to know I'm not alone in being battered by the NVC. It just REALLY stings when people who also got an RFE after me, sent their evidence in after me, get their approvals before I do--before the NVC even admits to opening my envelope. This "in the order they're received" BS they feed us is absurd. As soon as you call them out on it, by pointing out that they've yet to acknowledge receipt of your evidence while others are getting their approvals, they try and say: "we can't compare cases." Well if you can't compare, then the process is entirely random, and that means you're doing a bad job. In either case, you need to fix the process.

Christeen,

You're still HERE? Shouldn't you be out celebrating? LOL.

Quick question for anybody who can answer - does the NVC schedule the interview BEFORE sending the package to the embassy?

Cause I found a shipment to Dublin that I'm wondering about...

We have no scheduled interview, though, so I'm SURE I'm being truly silly here.

Sorry, could'nt resist answering an easy question... I took a nap and am feeling MUCH better now! I am booking my guys flight now!!!

As far as the package... For Ireland they first schedule the interview... Then the package is sent to the embassy. After you have the interview date, NVC can tell you when the package is mailed, you can track it from there...
