Yes, and initially, so did my petition. They are still technically "seperate" applications. Per the law, the I129F is only available while the I130 is still pending.

I just saw some posts going back and forth about Police Reports... In Canada is this something that is required pre-interview or something we'll need to include with the IV Application?

Police certificates are always needed at the NVC stage when one is filing a CR1/IR1.

I still have I129f petition pending. Quite strange they asked for RFE; the status for I129f changed. Once I sent the RFE I130 status went from Pending to Approved . I'm thrilled. What happens to I129f petition, surely it should have been approved as well ?

Got the RFE from I130 too... i sent them what they wanted, and after 2 weeks i got both I130 and I129 apporved...

Ok... IV bill showed PAID, so I rushed my butt down to the Post Office and sent off the 230 Package!!! Now all I can do is wait for login failure...

the uscis workes for both I29F and I130 ,, fortunatly what ever is approved they will go a head and forward the case th the nvc and most likely if your 130 is approved first ( in your case ) the I29F will automatically be dropped not valid because they go by case approval not pending so and you can cont .with CR1 since you are married !!!

Oh goodness!!! Can't wait!! He has antsy pants over waitin over there too! Now that they have everything, I just have to work on chillin for a week or two while they work on it!!! B)

My 130 and 129F got approved on the same day only a few hours difference. I got the approved email for the 129F before I got one for the 130.

When you call the NVC and get the "Your call is important to us. Please hold. All lines are busy." line, will it go straight to the automated message about your NVC case number once a line opens up or go to an operator?
