Is 2 hours enough time at LAX?

Guys, I am sorry that I am not able to find the right section to ask this question, so, I thought I would post it here.

Based on current booking, it looks like my wife's POE will be LAX. Between her landing and her connecting flight, she only has two hours. From your experience, do you think she will make it to her connecting flight? She will be landing around 1AM or so at LAX. I browsed through the POE section and it looks like most people had a good experience, but, I was not sure about the time length.

My experience with LAX is you need a minimum of 90 minutes (and sometimes that is pushing it) to keep from getting that 'panicking' feeling - at 1AM I'd bet 2 hours should be enough - not as many people, but not as many CBP either.

There are many flights that landed at that time in my experiances. I would be concerned that two hours isnt enough.

I waited with my wife at LAX POE for over one hour just to get thru the immigration check point. The baggage area was packed as was customs. That took about 45 minutes.

Her connecting flight will be in a different terminal which are a 5 min or more walk away depending on the airline. Or she can wait for the transfer buses. Either way I would think two hours is not enough.

Due to my profession I fly on a regular basis so I have seen it all. All you can do is go with what you have scheduled. What occurs on the day of your flight can never be planned for. Bad weather, delayed flights, aircraft repairs, world events...........you name it and it can happen. If a delay occurs you just have to roll with the punches, hope for the best and expect the worst.
