I think every person has the right to have their life saved from impending death or harm. Anyone should be able to walk into an Emergency Room at any hospital and not be denied needed treatment because of inability to pay.

Following that line of logic - it makes more sense to treat them before they reach the point of needing emergency care.

What about babies? Your a joke! Thats right, babies arent ppl until their BORN!

How can something that pretty much wasn't available until about 100 years ago be a human right? I could probably provide the same preventative care that a doctor in 1890 could give you. So how does someone discover or invent something, and suddenly everyone has a right to it?

How can someone say that gun ownership is a right when guns didn't always exist? How can someone say a woman has a right to not be raped when in the past it was thought that the woman dressed sleazy or acted in a way to provoke an attack? How can someone say a child has a right to not be beaten black and blue when in the past it was considered good discipline? How can you say anything is a right? Think!

I think the OP has been listening the Shawn Colmes on the Radio or something. I recalled a woman calling and said health care is a human right. It certainly isn't. But, it's the moral obligation of a Doctor to treat patient. Reason, why are there Doctors in Medicine? Simple answer, to care for the sick. It's part of a reason to be a doctor.

Education isn't a right. However, we must have people who are capable of running the future of our country. The leaders of our country must be a well-rounded person and aware of alot of things. Education is a means to provide the path for the leaders and management of society. Without it, it's almost as letting ignorance becoming the ideal living condition.

Of course health care is a human right. You just need to be able to afford to be considered human - it isn't free around here, you know? You gotta earn your humanity. And, consequently, there are different levels of humanity with some more human than others.

Yeah, very telling how some excuse ones right to "life", even a week before birth.

My friends, it's called "Plastic compassion".

In an early topic I documented how these Bleeding-Hearts, hardly give any one their own money, time... or even donate blood.

Now they preach to us.

Spare me.

Actually its called bullshit, not that I'd expect anyone here to fully appreciate the nuances of complex moral issues beyond their narrow pigeonholed partisan world view. Independent thoughts are as rare in these parts as a lightning strike.

So, what about them babies after they're born? Then you guys don't give a ** neither about the child nor the mother. If the child suffers some disease that the parents can't afford to have treated properly then that's on them. ** them and ** that dang child. Pro life my #######.

Now, now ,now, take a deep breath and exhale slowly. It will be fine.

As you know the system we have now will care for any new born child. They wont be thrown out into the dumpster if they are sick. Mom and child will be taken care of until its time to go out on their own, regardless of income.

Are you really that "out of it"... to not know the poor have full and free coverage?

Before those programs were even in place there were many organizations to help these people, why do you think there are so many Catholic, Baptist, Methodist (etc) hospitals which we all see in every city.

Now tell us where the "planned Parenthood" center is that does anything other than sell abortions to under-age girls.

No really, tell me about the Hospitals the Libs are running to help people.
