i-129f dilemma

Hello all, looking for a little advice.

After meticulously getting everything together, I 3 punched it and stuck it in a binder, then I thought, hmmmm, they don't mind 2 punch, but maybe they DO mind 3 punch, and after some research, USCIS apparently does mind. So, first question, I will need to redo everything, right?

If so, then here is the dilemma I now face:

My fiance sent me 7 completely filled out and signed g325a, after punching 4 of them, I have 3 left. She also sent me 4 copies of uncompleted, but signed, g325a. This is the new g325a, which says you only need to send a page, but everyone seems keen on sending 4 original copies as before. So it seems my options are:

1. Send 1-3 completely filled g325a and hope for the best

2. Myself fill in and send the 4 blank, but signed, copies

3. Have her mail me more copies

What do you you guys think?

Others have sent in petitions in 3-ring binders. USCIS just removed the documents from the binder, 2-hole punched the pages, and put it in their own folders. I don't think you'll have a problem using the documents you've already got. Just remove them from the 3-ring binder. I would be stunned if you got an RFE or your petition was returned because they pages were punched with 3 holes.

Reading this makes me want to shake my fist in the air at USCIS for reducing normal average people to sweating, paranoid beings worrying about binders, folders, ACCO fasterners, N/A vs None, handwritten vs typed. It would be funny if I wasn't part of it.

I myself worried about the N/A vs None.

If you go searching in the USCIS website they do give recommendation to use a two hole Acco fastener at the top of your sheets. This is what I found and used the recommendation: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD Then use tabs instead of dividers. If you do use tabs put them on the bottom. The reasoning is the USCIS has to do something with it if it is in a binder and it the tabs are on the side it may not fit well in a folder. I used tabs to divide the petition according to my table of contents. My petition went through just fine.

I glued tabs at the bottom for the initial petition and I saw at the interview they RIPPED them all off. Looked like sh!t!

LOL And I thought I was perfectionalist when I sent ONLY everything what they asked for and ONLY organized all documents into order like they were mentioned in cover letter. Uff seems I got a lot to learn from you guys!!!

Post-it's work well for tabs. They are functional, and easily removed. After 8 plus years in the military, it is not unusual to see a document covered in post-it's, but one dab of white-out, and the weight of the world comes down on the perpetrator!

Finally i found you! hahah! I posted a month ago about the N/A thing. My fiance used N/A instead of None on some fields in the form which requires None. It's been more than a month since we got our NOA1 but I'm still worried about that N/A thing until now. Hope we'll not received an RFE because of that.

I'm a big fan of paperclips. I think they are more than capable of punching holes themselves.
