lots of town hall meetings being cancelled or moved at the last minute, with only the schills being informed of the new location. people are angry, and suitable answers are not forthcoming.

Not too shocked when a hotheaded Hispanic kid gets into it with a loudmouth waving an American flag. The handful of people outside just want to shoot their mouths off.

Alot of these are what prominent Republican would like to wish for stopping freedom of speech, am I right? If I'm not right, then both sides agree that freedom of speech is a sacred right give to each individual. People can mouth their ####### off. What a capable intellectual would do in a situation like that is to simply ignore other people's ignorance because not everyone is stupid. People will listen.

Town hall meetings have been rooted back to the colonial days to revolt against Britain. It gave the colonies a voice to express their frustration against government. Have people forgotten? Have people forgotten what town hall meetings is all about? Or based on this OP post, town hall meetings should be stopped?

Many intellectuals are incapable of getting their message and townhalls are fpr the public not a seminar setting. Sometimes the wilder charges are more persuasive despite its realtive merits.
