Hello everyone,

Please can anyone help me with my case....well my wife just receive the NOA1 and while preparing the I-129f we noticed that we didnt add 4 copies of the G-325A form in the previous I-130.....which of course we found out while looking for the I-129F process.

1) Do we need to send the four (4) copies with note on it, or doesnt it really matter?

2) On the G-325A form, where it says "This form is submitted in connection with an Application for; Please can i put K-3 or still I-129F?

3) When we receive the NOA1 my name was spelled wrongly, my wife called immediately and they said she'll receive a notice in 45days. Can we go ahead to send the I-129F or wait for the notice because im confuse maybe the notice will include another Receipt Number.

Kindly, assist me with the above information as God will bless you in your case too

Thanks in advance.

You need to wait for the RFE from them requesting all the copies. You will need to send in all four pages, one set of four for each the petitioner and the beneficiary, with original signatures on all four pages. You need to wait for the RFE. If you reply with the correct documents quickly, your case will not have been delayed too much longer. Sri you made that mistake.

The new version of the 325A finally went online sometime in July. And yes, it's only one page (well, unless they changed it in the past two weeks!).

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Chances are you'll have no problem at all. I've never heard of an RFE for more copies of a G325a. They have copiers and use them when they need them. If filing an I-129F for a spouse (A SUPREMELY BAD IDEA FOR THE PAST NEARLY THREE YEARS) indicate "I-129F K3 visa".

If I were you, I would get my name spelling corrected and forget about filing the I-129F. Half the threads in this forum discuss why. Do some reading.

I already told you half the threads in this forum discuss the answer to your question and advised you to do some reading. Start by clicking on the word "Guides" at the top of any page here and see option one for a spouse. Just forget about the I-129F.

Thanks, ill just follow the guide its really going to help. but one more question, do u think its cool to send a scanned g-325A to my wife for submission...i know they really didnt specify but and the first we filed I-130, i sent my g325A to her via email. do u think it will affect anything or not. or i should just send the g-325a to her via fedex for the next (I129F)

I would email the completed form to her and have her mail back the signed one. Then only submit it in response to an RFE that should never come anyway.
