Seattle2Cebu has been posting for a while on both VJ and also on livingincebu.com. He's a real piece of work. His "advice" is all over the map, and he constantly airs his dirty laundry online. For example:

> He's had two failed K-1 relationships involving Filipinas, and another failed marriage.

> Was diagnosed bipolar and is off his medication.

> Has anger-management issues that he does not get treatment for.

> Was arrested in Washington State and given a deferred prosecution for domestic violence, which involved "spanking his children".

> Left his children with their grandparents in Texas.

> Was fired from his call center job in Washington State.

> Moved to Cebu with about $1000. to his name (and no income stream), and blew through it in two weeks.

> Loves to play poker and gamble online.

> Has diabetes (which he neglects).

> Has erectile disfunction.

> Almost lost his leg to infection while in Cebu (not THAT leg).

> He's 50 and has taken up in Cebu with a 17-year-old Cebuana who doesn't speak English and has a fourth or fifth-grade education.

> Got angry at his fiancée in Cebu and nearly tore down her aunt's house...injuring himself in the process.

> Was basically broke and homeless in Cebu.

> Begged for money on VJ and on other online sites.

> Advocates that you put a key-logger on your computer to monitor your significant other.

> Is now renting a house using school loans from his online Bible-studies course.

> Is engaged to be married to a 17-year-old Cebuana who he calls (at different times) his wife, his joke-wife, his fiancée, his so-called wife, or his girlfriend.

> Was planning their wedding for 250+ people in Cebu when he was broke.

Would you take advice from this guy?

What a catch!

On line Bible courses? Its Jim Jones of the P I. Never mind the sprinkles he will need grape Kool Aid. One glass please, no ice.

If I was in charge of anything, I would abolish the k-1 visas entirely. and only have marriage visas..

Well I am glad you are not in charge, because you would have just ruined the choices that my fiance and I had, as well as THOUSANDS as others like us. What is it to you if we choose to do a K1 rather than a K3 or CR1? We all have our own reasons. Not all of us have the luxury of visiting our partners for months on end. I'm happy you do.

Please stop trolling.

I can only agree.

Although I feel the same when it comes to people that decide to marry after just an internet relationship- hey, its their life, not mine. Who am i to tell them how to live?

And abolishing the K-1 would be the stupidest move of the year. Again, thousands of people rely on that, and not just so they can get to know each other in the US.

Something you wouldn't know anything about, Cebu, is that some countries (china for example) have high age requirements for marriage. If the K-1 were abolished, that means that we have an oxymoron on our hands. While US law generally allows citizens to marry at 18, what would people like i do, who are 20, and would need to wait 3 more years just to be together? You want to try making your seattle-to-cebu move into a seattle-to-henan move? Didn't think so.
