USCIS only wants to see that you have meet each other within two years before filing, so the most important will be, boarding passes, VISA entry/departure stamps, credit card statements showing uses of credit card there, etc... pictures are secondary evidence, but you can include maybe 5-10.... at this stage the only documents are forms for the initial filing and your birth certificate...

The 2008 trip should be sufficient but the re is no penalty for including more. Also make a copy of all that for the interview "proof of relationship" For our petition I sent only evidence of meeting one time and it was fine, though by the time I filed the petition we had met several times. More is better than not enough, to be sure.

Copies of the stamps in your passport along with the flight information, (e-tickets, boarding pass, etc. ). it helps to include pictures of you with the family members in some kind of happy setting. You are required to meet her one time in 2 years. So 2008 would qualify. Just give what they are asking for. Have you met her? Yes, OK, When? 2008, Ok, prove it. here is the visa stamps, etc. Keep it simple.

Good Luck to you on your journey.

Comments : She recived the first notice from Manila on Valentines day. Perfect timing.

The first setback came during the medical. Naty had to do the 3 day sputum and then we waited 2 months for the results. YESSSS>came back negative

Went for her interview on July 16th and received her Pink Slip......Finally. Paid the AIR21 and I expect her here August 10th, 2009. Marriage will be August 21st, exactly 4 years to the day that we first met.

Whiler not a bad thing, date and time stamps are not considered valid. Camera dates and times can be set for what you want and photos are secondary evidence anyway. If he has travel documents showing he was in the country at the time he says and he has photos together with his fiancee, it is sufficient. They really do not care what date or time it was as long as you have plausible evidence it was within two years, passport stamps are better "proof" and primary evidence.

I am so glad I read this post. When I met my fiance, I did not take pictures that show only her and I facing the camera. I know I am stupid....I only had one week in Kabul. Perhaps I should have read the K1 visa directions before I went there. But I am glad to know that the passport stamps are the primary way to determine proof of having met.

All the above  The important thing is proof that you have met withing the 2 year requirement as of the date you file. As far as the pictures goes is good dadded proof but the copy of your passport page that shows the stamp of your entry on your visit is the best proof. make a nice clear coupy of that. As well as airline ticket stubs or copy of an e-ticket. Hotel receipts and so on. Additionally for the pictures best are couple pictures of you and your lady. not ones from a hotel room as a suggestion. And Good luck joining the journey! Will be a bit of a long road but one well worth the wait.
