Just trying to be a good boy.

We are here! Lurking...and counting the days. I can't believe that we may be only 2-3 weeks from NOA2!!!!!!!

Well, the three (or six of us, lol) all have NOA1's right by each other, hopefully we go 1-2-3 when it comes to our approvals! How are you holding up without your loved ones? I have to say I was seriously depressed about a month or so ago, but now we are so close to an approval, throwing myself into wedding planning and preparing for the interview has taken over my mind. A welcome relief!

Ahh I would give anything for just a day with Alex, I'm envious, but happy the two of you get some much-needed time together! And I agree on Skype! When we are video chatting, I can just imagine that I am sitting right next to him on the couch. It helps, for sure.

Hi Alec and Tiff! Where in the Australia does Alec hail from? I'm a Brisbane girl myself, though I grew up in the wilds of Victoria!

Alec and Tiff,

My NOA 1 date is also August 27th, 2009 I'm wondering if I will be receiving our NOA 2 soon. My girlfriend/fiancee is now here on a tourist visa till December 6th and then she returns to Poland. I'm hoping that when we receive it and send everything back, that by the time she returns to Poland in December that it will almost be time for her interview. And then come visit and spend Christmas with her family and then return with her visa to US together.

I saw someone on this forum with a NOA1- NOA2 date total of 54 days form VSC.

Have you filled in your timeline on this site? It can give you a projected approval window. For example, my NOA1 date is August 5, three and a bit weeks before yours. My approval window is between October 30 and November 10, a few weeks away. So, your window is most likely going to be toward the end of November and the start of December. The reason VSC is getting such fast approvals is their adjudicators almost all got switched over the K1 petitions to get rid of the backlog. No such luck at CSC, though.

YoU never know though, your petition may randomly get picked up by an adjudicator. Think happy thoughts!

Hi Alex and Astrid,

Yes I've filled out a time line and looked at the projected date but I am being overly optimistic to see if they approve it (NOA2) earlier. It's really kind of my fault as I didn't finish the paperwork when she first arrived in the U.S. (June) so I'd probably know by then. The thing I didn't want to happen though is finish everything and get an interview date before she returns to Poland (Dec). I just hope that everything works out and there isn't too much separation time before she is able to come back. She was detained in Atlanta when she came and her tourist visa issued by the Warsaw Consulet expired in August. I'm wondering if we should get another visa just to play it save? The flights aren't cheap and we aren't rich so we need to make the most of the flights back and forth to Poland.

Just received an email from USCIS at 5:30pm tonight that our approval notice has been sent today! The message says that the I-129F petition has been approved! So I assume that the NOA2 is in the mail. Yeay! Anybody else???? Our NOA1 date was August 27. It was approved in less than 2 months! Alec is here with me now, and he will return on Dec. 8 to Melbourne for the rest of the process.

Cheers all around,

Tiffany

To add - Just logged onto USCIS tracking, and no touch yet. And, since it's the weekend there now, I am guessing that nothing will happen, if we do get touched, for a few more days. We are moving up Igor's list though! And there are a three NOA1's from around our NOA1 date that have been approved. The VJ timeline page says CSC are processing petitions from July 24. I'm not a religious person at all, but I am PRAYING we get one soon. I can't bear waiting any longer!

That's awesome! But as for our situation...no touches yet, no email. And my timeline date keeps slipping farther back. I know that the timeline is just an estimate so your "real" news give me hope. Our actual NOA1 date is only two days behind yours!

It's also great that you could be together for this event! I won't get to share my news in person with my finace however at least I will get to see her next week for 7 days.
