My name is Danielle and my husband's name is Chad. I'm the US citizen and he's Australian. We were recently married (last week) and we're just beginning this process. However in the meantime I thought it would be good to meet other couples that are in the same boat as us. I have my little groups of friends here but most of them are single and we're a couple now. It's good to have other couple's as friends and especially if your going through the same sort of situation.

hi....were from fitzgerald georgia

Congratulations on your marriage! My husband is the USC and I am from Sweden. We are in the southwest corner of Gwinnett, 5 miles from the river.

Your not too far away from us. So how do you like Gwinnett County? I lived in Buford when I moved here 9 years ago from New York.

Cool. We are in Peachtree Corners, close to 285 but without the burden of supporting the city of Atlanta which is perfect for us right now. We were actually up in the Buford/Flowery Branch area yesterday watching the Falcons first public practice.

Small world! Where is Smyrna are you? We are off Atlanta Rd, near Spring Rd.

We're near the intersection of Atlanta and Cumberland on Oakdale Rd.

Maybe we should all pick a restaurant and find a time we can meet up. I think that would be tonnes of fun.

Why don't we try to pick a weekend sometime and a restaurant and meet up for lunch? Those who are able to come, come and then for others we can arrange another event. It would be great to get together with everyone. My husband and I have met Bermycat and her husband, and Karen and Joel who live in the mountains north east of the City (along with another non-Canadian VJ couple) already - it would be great to meet others as well.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
