Please someone help out. I file I-130 petition, but mistakenly didn't include G325A and other evidence of relation. I have receive from USCIS that they receive my application. They've cash my check already. Will it be wise for me to complete G325A with other evidence and sent to California service center?

Thanks in advance.

No, don't send anything yet. Once they start to review your application they will see that they are missing some of the documents. They will send you an RFE (Request for Evidence) listing the documents that you need to send. You will then send in the G325A with the letter requesting it to a different address that they will include with the letter. That way they will be able to match your additional information with your original information. If you send it without waiting for the RFE it is unlikely they will ever be able to match up the new information with the original application.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Now you have a case number you can try sending them the additional documents with a cover letter explaining your omission and quoting the case number. I would take copies of any documents you send so that if they fail to match up your original application with the additional documents at least you have them ready if they send an RFE to you.

I've read a denial story about this because they failed to respond to an RFE for the G235A, make sure you watch the mail and send the G235A as soon as possible with the cover sheet.

My fear is I don't want my petition delayed. Please any idea on how long it could take before i get the RFE? My case is available online.

Thanks

Thank you.

Please considering that I've made a mistake which could delay my petition. What if i file a complete different petition, and pay another fee. Any suggestions? I really fault myself, don't understand how, i could be in possession of required documents but forget to include them in the package prior t mailing.

Thinking of just considering that I lost $355, then file another all over again.

ANY SUGGESTIONS

Please do not file another petition, this will cause much steeper delays in your case without withdrawing the initial I-130 you have already filed.

To file another petition, you will need to cancel the existing one. This can take a while to receive confirmation that the 1st petition is canceled before you can file the 2nd. Your best bet now is to wait for the RFE. We received an RFE and it only delayed our case a total of 2 weeks compared to those filing around the same time as us. RFE's are common and USCIS can deal with them expeditiously.

Sit tight and wait for the RFE, Good luck on your journey
