Wife's EAD card production has been ordered. Took about 6-7 weeks. Much faster than what we had gotten used to with K3. Based on the current trends doesn't seem like it will take much longer for the actual GC (my brother applied for AOS in late April and got his GC a few weeks back !).

-D

06/12/09 - POE at Newark (K3)

07/01/09 - I-485 and I-765 mailed

07/06/09 - USCIS received (date on NOA1)

07/13/09 - NOA1 received for both I-485 and I-765 !

08/08/09 - Biometric appointment

08/25/09 - AOS interview letter notice date

09/24/09 - AOS interview

10/03/09 - Received GC !!

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

She's looking into taking a promotion to a regional level job and she wants me to take her place as director

No, really. So we'll see what happens. I'm debating if I want that type of job or not.

Hi everybody.

Seren, that's a good news. Hope you will land a job soon. Just had a job offer last week but that was 1 and a half hours drive away from our place. Husbie said, it is not worthy since it is that far and nobody would drive to take me there daily.. I started driving short distances again with him. He was nervous and freaking out..

Lisa - Had I known you could fix a car, I should have asked you to fix husbie's Camaro instead.. :P

CnT - How are you this evening?

Any news from Jen?

Have a great evening.

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

Wife got her EAD in the mail yesterday. We went to the SSA this morning and applied for her social security card. Next step is getting her learner's license (once the SSN card shows up) and then driving lessons ... Hopefully the AOS also gets approved by then ...
