That's Ok! :lol: You are entitled to that. But, as a Canadian literature major, it's a pretty widespread theme in what we study. The constant search for identity, through literature, has always been troubling to us and I think that literature is a reflection of our society so that's how I attribute those two things to each other.

You can disagree, though. It's okay.

A friend of mine back home is like that. For some reason, which I never understood he's obsessed with all things American and wants to live here. He got his law degree in Virginia but moved back to Ontario upon graduating, he still can't find a job here. But his dream in life is to leave Canada and be American, I never figured out why that was :blink:
