Buy a truck... get an AK-47 (well a civilian version)

Lol gotta love my home state for its weirdness. I do have to say AK 47's in this country are really no different then .30 hunting rifles so they are not assault weapons. The action is semi - automatic and it does not have a selector for 3 round burst or full round burst as a military AK might have. Also the cartridge can only have 10 rounds unlike the 30 of a military AK.

The guy should think "buy American" and offer M1's or M14's rofl.

OMG, you are a former UK citizen that does not think all weapons should be banned!

Guns don't kill people. People with guns kill people. Makes it all better right?

Sweet, another anti gunner.

Just when you thought they had all given up.

Not anti-gun. Just concerned about the considerable number of ***holes that use them for evil.

So you would be against baning these civilian versions in the US of A?

I am not pro banning any kind of weapon per se, short of obvious military grade weapons. No rational person needs a phalanx gun system for example, or operational .50 caliber machine gun.

I am not pro proliferation of guns for the mere sake of giving away guns. They may be inanimate objects, but they are the weapon of choice for murder, they are not safe unless handled with a great deal of care by a responsible person.

Ask ####### Cheney's hunting partner about how safe guns are, even in the hands of our once Vice President.

Giving away a Chinese made weapon to try and sell trucks being touted as 'only in America' and a great thing is just silly, and I do have some concerns about it.

Are these such weapons any safer in the hands of crazed kid wearing a uniform? And battles are no longer fought in a field outside of town, but in thick populated areas. And their only intent is to kill people, certainly wouldn't use a 50 caliber to bag a deer, wouldn't be nothing left of it.

Perhaps all these weapons should be banned, forever. One argument is they assure peace, the con to this argument is they start wars, like in the hands of Chavez for example. He is using AK-47's to prevent people from gathering to protest his actions.

That is why our founders put into our bill of rights, "the right to bear arms"! Very simple phrase with no restrictions, but all that is changing now, government can have 50 caliber machine guns, we can have that water pistol, providing it's range is less than ten feet. Our leaders are going against our own Bill of Rights and on the basis of some nut. We can get rid of those nuts just as well, but are stopped by laws in doing so, so they are covering all bases to take away our freedom.

I don't think we need to strip away the right to keep and bear arms. Just recognize the danger guns pose to everyone's safety.

Who said strip away, actual case is restrict away.

Irrational fear of the government might be a good starting point for restricting gun ownership.

Perhaps you would be better suited to life in a country that does not allow these freedoms. The right to bear arms was signed in stone, written with blood!

The founding fathers had single shot, black powder weapons...

And once again, if you don't ####### over the concept of free Chinese assault weapons you are clearly against the Constitution in the view of VJ gun nuts?

I am not anti-gun ownership. Just against wrong headed proliferation when it shows its ugly head. Get it straight.

Guns are the weapon of choice for murder in this country... That is a legitimate concern.
