Hello....

I am a new member here, and honestly i feel so lost  . I have never done this before so please forgive me if i make some mistakes :bonk: . I need help :help: with the application for the K-1 visa. Two weeks ago, (L) i finally met with my bf and after all being said and done we decided to get engaged  . He lives in the United States and works for the US Army, i on the other hand, live in Macedonia. We are about to start the process on the K-1 visa but we get lost in all the paperwork that needs to be done. I would be grateful if you can give us some advice and information on how to get things started.

Thank you

The start of the process is all work for your USC fiance to do. Have him read the guides to understand what is involved and what he needs to file. There are some (beneficial) differences for active duty military. You will find links to that info in the VJ Wiki pages.

This process takes time and requires patience.

Good Luck! I started with researching the paperwork through the US immigration website. I found VJ after I filed but my petition was approved with no problems. Read the instructions carefully and as mentioned read the guides here. It is pretty straight forward just filling out the forms and gathering the proper evidence can be annoying. Congrats!!
