Passed my interview today.. was at the USEM at 6 am for my 7 am appointment, got done at 11 am. This website has been a huge help for us.. i just want to share the questions asked by the CO, for those with upcoming interviews to somehow pass the kindness forward..

*When and where did you meet your husband?

*What does he do?

*Do you plan to work in the United States?

* What is your job in the Philippines?

*When did you got married?

He also asked things about my US tourist visa, other trips abroad, etc.. All in all the interview lasted for about ten minutes.

Good luck to everyone. God bless!

Congrats - thanks for the info :)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

CONGRATS! thanks for sharing your experience

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
