Hi everyone,

I see a lot of people are taking their appointment letter and their packet 4 to the embassy at interview time. My fiance nor I ever got a packet 4 or an interview letter. We just received an email. I emailed the embassy about this but all I got was, just bring your passport and documents.

My question is has anyone been denied entry into the embassy or interview because they did not have or receive such letter?

Any other suggestions about the interview process would also be appreciated.

My fiance's interview is August 6th in Ankara.

thanks,

Consulates vary in their appointment procedures. I would follow sjr09's advice.

moving thread to:

US Embassy and Consulate Discussion

You are almost there and now you have to deal with the embassy. This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

YMMV

We never received anything either. I received their email and I printed "you must bring this email with you to your appointment" page. The links to all the other forms are in the email.

I emailed the embassy asking where is it? What's going on? They said they already sent it out (not) so we're using the email and bringing that page printed in 2 weeks.

If you don't have everything, email the consulate and ask then they should email you packet 4.
