I remember that first day that I sent the I-130. I was very exited about it but in the other hand thiking the long wait that we were facing. After a long long journey our interview day is comming and even though we are very nervous about it (for no reason) is a great feeling thinking that our big day is just around the conner. It is so special for many reasons since we never thought that for this day instead of two people going to an interview at the Embassy now we are three (in a way) since my wife is 4 and a half months pregnant. Is just the greatest feeling and I wanted to shared it with you all.

Thank you,

Orlando...

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Hey Orlando, Congratulations (especially on the daddy thing)!!! The process in Bogota went very smooth for Ivonne. I couldn't be there for the interview, but I was able to visit for 10 days back in April. As long as your paperwork is solid, it should be a piece of cake. Ivonne was only asked two questions - how did you meet (for us it was on www.christiancafe.com ) and where does you husband live. She was out of there by 11:30 am. Best wishes and God bless.
