I have so many butterflies in my stomach, it isn't funny.

But, I have my files ready, AND I trust that God is in control

and we will be blessed!

Got my GC today!!! Woooohoooo! and it's the 6th month of our marriage too!

We're in the same boat. We had a co sponsor. I wonder if that caused any problems. I'm working now but at the time I was unemployed.

We had a wonderful interview today with a very pleasant and friendly IO.

Pointers from that for you:

She said that she was observing us from the moment she saw us, how we interacted with each other. My hubby helped me with the my purse and the briefcase - which is a normal act, but she observed it. She said we looked confident and it was obvious we cared for each other. Thus that started to push her in the direction of believing our relationship.

She asked my passport, I-94, EAD, AP's and said she will give everything but the I-94 back if she didn't approve us.

Then she asked me to tell her how we met and how the relationship grew.

Asked a few questions here and there, hubby gave his input there too.

She made notes about that on the file.

She checked the file to see if everything was approved.

Interesting fact she mentioned:

If your I-130 was approved already, she doesn't have to establish if we have a relationship because that's the legal approving of it.

She took 2 wedding pictures after I offered it to her [really!] and proof of our joint bank account.

Not 1 look into everything I brought from emails, pictures, proofs, NOA's. She just checked that she had everything in her file.

Then, very friendly, it's my pleasure to approve your application, you will receive your GC in 2 weeks.

Praise to our precious Jesus Christ that heard our prayers and helped us all along the way and today.

Nope we are still waiting too. It's very frustrating. Nothing unusual about our filing either. We must be on the bottom of the pile.

I'm waiting too, our timelines are very similar. I'm in the June forum. there are 3 of us there still waiting. The wait is making me feel that there is something unusual with my file, I just don't know what ....

Hello July Filers!

I just have a question regarding the Biometrics Appointment. I'm an October Filer! It's been a month now and I still haven't receive the biometrics letter. I called the 1-800 and made a service inquiry. Anyone experienced this?! I'm soooo worried. Any advice?! I'll truly appreciate your reply.

If you have not taken your biometrics, what are the status updates on your applications? You should have taken the bio by now.
