Did you write your EAD case number on that sheet they had you fill out? Did your bio appointment letter list both case numbers? (I-485 and I-765)

no..cuz their only asking for my AOS case number..and thats the thing my bio appointment only have 1 case number just my I-485..thats why i asked the guy how come i only have 1 case number written on my notice..and he really have no idea why they only write 1..

Then I would definitely call! Call the number you called to report that you hadn't had a Biometrics appt.

Uma,,maybe you will have your greencard soon??which is you dont need an EAD once you have greencard in hand

you think so sis..?im just a little bit worried..cuz u know once we're done w/ bio we can receive the EAD like 2 weeks after and the GC is like a month..cuz we dont know if we'll have interview or RFE..i dont wanna wait that long..my exam at DMV will expires on January..i dont wanna have another exam.. thats why i want to have my EAD asap.. but off course i wanna start looking for a job right away..holidays are comin..

i just wish sis..oh and i just called USCIS..asking bout why i haven't received my bio for EAD..and they gave me confirmation and wait for another 45 days until the response..GOSH..i cant believe this is happening to me again..i just wish sis my GC arrive soon..w/ no hassle or anythin..

We had our daughter's K-2 AOS appointment today. It went fairly smoothly. We got there at the scheduled time of 9:45 and seemed to be out of there in maybe 15 minutes. The immigration officer went over all of the pertinent data verification. She then told us she would not approve my daughter's AOS as of now :o , but it was for good reason. My wife just filed her I-751 to remove conditions and it's still pending. The lady told us she would just hold the AOS for my daughter until the I-751 for my wife was complete. Then, assuming my wife was given a 10 year green card, USCIS would give my daughter a 10 year card also. This would save us having to remove conditions for my daughter in two years, to include the application process and the fee.:dance::dance: I thought that was pretty cool seeing how I just paid $545.00 for my wife's removal of conditions application. For once I think I actually like the USCIS.....okay, I'm over that feeling now.

So we will just wait for the 10 year card in the mail I guess. My wife just did her biometrics today for her removal of conditions, so it shouldn't be long.

Take care everyone!

Scott

WOOOHOOOOO!!!! YOu are our first GC approval...what fabulous news!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! Holy we filed the same time, I got CSC trans, you got interview and approved sooner.... that just goes to show you that past trends are as accurate as ***** lol...

Ok, so I got my AP in the mail today...

I got two copies...does this mean it is only good for two trips? I'm confused why it's two copies, and how do I activate? Do I see them before I leave across boarder or after?

Thank you poprocks! You do know that it was your positive thinking that helped me, right? lol! Hope you get an approval soon as well! Btw, I don't know if your question about the AP was answered already, but there are two copies that you will bring with you for your trip. When you return to the US, you will give one to immigration, and the other they will stamp (I think). :)

I got my actual green card today! I'm off to DMV and Social Security tomorrow..

Good luck to everyone having their interviews soon! Hoping everyone gets more touches and approvals soon!

umagirl, congrats on finishing your bio! I'll pm you! :)

umagirl, congrats on finishing your bio! I'll pm you! :)

AWWW, thanks girl :)

I have a question....UGH....

I went to SSA office yesterday, she noticed an error in my marriage certificate!!!!! The minister dated 'date of marriage' as 'July 7, 2007'... I guess she was thinking '7's'???? And they never caught it at office...OMG, Does this mean we have been married 2 years and we get a 10 year GC???? haha!

Wait, i'm worried now, if USCIS sees this error, I will get an RFE, and I will have to drive to OCNJ to get it fixed....it will then have to be refilled by minister and certified by city clerks office...this could set me back weeks!!!! I wonder if I should just wait and see what happens???? I mean, so far, my EAD and AP got approved and name changed with USCIS with this document...the document acutally shows issued July 6th 2009, and certified July 8th 2009, only error is where minister hand wrote at top July 7 2007. hmmmm. I don't want to unecessarily run around to fix this right now if I don't have to (I don't feel like driving 3 hours back and forth to OC) will be out there in 4 weeks or so, maybe I deal with it then?

UGH...I hope it's not an issue :(

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: Morocco
Timeline

So the dates of July 6th 2009 and July 9th 2009 both appear on your marriage certificate but the handwritten part from the minister says July 7 2007?

Ugh. I would hope that common sense will show USCIS it's obviously an error. You couldn't have gotten married before the issue date on it. Are you sure it's not just a really poorly written 7? I can see 7 and 9 being confused.

I don't know, I wouldn't stress too much about it. Then again, if it were me, I'd prolly be freaking too. I would wait and see.

haha...no it's a pretty clear '7'... and yeah, the issue date of the license shows July 6th, when we picked it up...and the issue date on the certificate is July 8th...just the written part from the officiant shows 2007...don't know how I missed that...considering how accurate and what a worry wart I usually am :( I don't want USCIS to think that I did a K1 while married lol...but ur right, the issue date of the actual license could not be after the wedding date...then again, USCIS are sticklers!

Why do I feel like an 'RFE' is like a failing grade on an exam?

Anyone else feel this way? It's like you want to go the entire process without one and you feel like 'YES!!!! I passed!' haha!
