The US has very few restrictions on bringing normal "pets". Provided it is a domestic, pet rabbit there is no specific requirement. Dogs are required to have rabies vaccinations not less than 30 days before travel. Cats are subject to a "health check" at the POE as would be a rabbit or any other domestic animal, though they may not check it at all.

My wife brought a dog and a cat, both had rabies shots, they were checked only visually at the POE. Alla showed their rabies certificate and Ukrainina health certificate but they were printed in Ukrainian so Alla had to translate and they took her word for it. Make sure you check with the country she is leaving. It was far more difficult to take the animlas out of Ukraine than to bring them in to the USA. They had to have a health check and papers had to be sent to Kiev and returned with an official "health certificate". All this must be done no less than 30 days BEFORE travel and the process took several weeks. We started this about 3 months before she left. Again, that was Ukraine rules, not US, but the US requires the rabies shot be not less than days before entry. If it is less than 30 days, the animal has to be quarentined until 30 days have passed since the rabies shot.

Again, rabbits are subject only to a visual in health inspection

Make sure you also check out what pets are allowed in your residence, city, or county as well. Just something to think about if she's allowed to bring her rabbit over, but your building say if you live in an apartment or something won't allow them!
