Wait til your baby starts kicking you in the bladder! LOL :innocent:

I used to hate that. Oh, and when the baby has hiccups, you can see it!

What a sweet baby, AlienUKGirl! I think 36 weeks was enough! If he went to term he would have been over 14 lbs! OM! He sure is a cutie! I bet he will have little ripples on his legs! Congratulations! I hope everything is going well :)

Good news! First- I felt the baby!!! It feels like electric shocks. Real quick movements. No jolts or anything I can see on the surface, but I am sure that will come. It feels like I am going to have a very active baby!

Second- I heard the heartbeat again yesterday. it has gone from 166 to 168 to 152. Boy?

Third- My appointment for the big u/s is 9/25. Just 4 weeks from now we find out if we have a daughter or a son! This is all so amazing!

Christina--have you been feeling the baby?

I hated hiccups. Adam had them every day several times and he still has them now at least once a day. It was getting on my nerves sooo bad.

I guess I was one of the lucky moms with the BFing. Adam latched right on and we hit it off. We did cosleep in the beginning but had him sleep in his bed from about 4 months on. He's doing good now, doesn't want to sleep in our bed etc. I also just made sever ice cube trays of pear baby food and also butternut squash..yummie. Let's see how he likes it.

Congratulations to all new mommies and mommies to be.

@Lizzy: It was pretty obvious that Adam was going to be a boy...I think he had his legs sooo far apart that you couldn't even miss IT. Even I - who usually don't see anything on ultrasound pics - saw it. Good luck tomorrow. Keep us updated.

My DR's office called me this afternoon to tell me my blood sugar is 'elevated' from the glucose test and I need to go on Tuesday to take the 3 hour test at the hospital. DARN IT!!

Anyone else had this??

No I didn't have that. I'm so sorry. Maybe the three hour test will be good though. Even if your levels are elevated again, you might be able to not develop diabetis by cutting out on carbs and fruit etc. Good luck.

I did! The glucose made me sick - I threw it up right away each and every time. I ended up having to retake it 5 times. On my fifth time, they finally smartened up and gave me a pill that would prevent me from throwing up after drinking the glucose - promethazine. Took it one hour ahead. Get ready for them to take your blood continuously during those 3 hours. Oh, BTW, when they did the 3 hour test, everything turned out good!

With my very first baby, I was put in the hospital - I was diabetic. They starved us to death! LOL

WHAT A CUTIE. She is adorable. She doesn't look as squished as newborns usually look. Have fun with your first grandchild, I wish my parents would get to see their grandchild more often, they haven't met him yet and he's already six months old.
