everything was turned in a month ago and they deposited my check two days after it was sent in and i still havent goten an nao1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why?????? somebody please help!!!!!!!!

This is not uncommon - doesn't mean your petition isn't in line in the order which it was received. When you get your NOA you'll see it will be dated some time near when it was received. :thumbs:

Because there is no rush to send you a letter which tells you what you already know. The NOA1 date on the letter (whenever it comes) will be the day they deposited your check, give or take a day. The letter they mail you, itself, is meaningless. You can get your case number off the back of your check and enter your case in the online system for what that is worth, but the online update system is rarely accurate either. If you want, for VJ timeline purposes, you can enter the day they depsoited your check as your NOA1 date. Close enough for an estimated timeline anyway. VJ's timeline estimate is as good as any, better than most.

When you get the NOA1 you can put the date in your timeline, like the rest of us did and it will look like you got the letter 2 days after you sent the petition.

Yes. Processing starts when they receive it, not when they send the letter

Do you have access to the cashed check. The case number is printed on the back of the check. Use it to check your status online. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do
