WAIT!!! how long to get an interview date??

I submitted DS230 packet to NVC. The automated phone message says "checklist items received on June 18th......will be contacted in few weeks"........

Any idea how long it will take to get an interview date....."embassy is MUMBAI, India"....

Anything I can or should do to get an early interview date? Any other signals I should look out for.......

Any advice will be appreciated....

It's possible that your case will be complete before the end of the month - possible but not probable. If it were to be complete by 7/4 then you MIGHT be scheduled the second week of July for an August interview. From what I have been tracking, India is pretty quick about scheduling after case is complete.

ur case probably will be completed if no issues by End of that Month ...

probably u get an August Interview looking to the fact ur Embassy is a quick one ..

Just keep a close follow up with the AVR however do speak to a live operator every 2-3 days or so

your case should be completed soon if there is no RFE
