So you could take on a second part-time job to supplement the missing income. You could obtain a letter from each employer stating your annual gross salary as well as status i.e. part and full-time.

Or, you can save up $212x5 = $1,060 in liquid assets to make up for your income short fall.

I would recommend that you get a bigger pad than that, but without a time line, we can't tell where you are in the process (not petitioned yet?).

The poverty guidelines seem to be pretty hard minimums, but always better to be as much above them as possible.

Most, if not all, embassies require 125% for the I-134 that I have seen via posts here.

I am sure someone that went through your embassy will be by to confirm what level.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

I think that 100% meets the requirement if you are active military.

I sorry!!It was posted and I was not finish with it.Some reason the laptop went crazy and got part my message.

Information for the I-134/ I-184 Affidavit of Support:I currently meet the 100% poverty guideline with my full-time position.I make about $18,000 and I'm about $212 short for the I-184 guideline of 125% ($18,212).So,I started a part time job and added with my current pay it's about $20,000 to $21,000 a year.It be helpful if I can add that to my I-134 and I-184 without having to ask someone to co-sponsor for me.I don't see on the I-134 a place to add the second employment, but I do see that on the I-184.Should I just make a second form for the I-134 and attached it or should I just get a co-sponsor.

I am not an expert on this but I would check with the USCIS and see if you can add the totals from both jobs on (1) I-134 form and attach a letter from each employer to show how it breaks down.

Excuse me for sort of derailing, but I am lost here: if I live alone and doing I-134 for my significant other, do I need 100% for 1 person (myself) or 2 (being myself and her)?

Thanks.

you are counting 2 person(s) and it is 125%, 100% is for active military personnel.
